SEO
SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is a marketing technique you must know if you build a website or promote a product or service online. I neglected this for a long time thinking that ads will do the job. Advertising does to the job on the short term, but on the long term SEO is what will help you build your authority online and help you rank among the first search results online. Here are a few tools you can use for SEO.
Ahrefs - Trial period for 7$ and then 99$/month
SEMrush - 99,95$ /month
Ubbersuggest - FREE

Clickfunnels
ClickFunnels is an online tool, that you can use to easily create series of web pages that people have to navigate through in order to purchase a product or join an email list, or a webinar, and you don’t need to know a single line of code. I have used it for over a year now and this has helped me a lot in setting up my business on automation.
Facebook ads
Love it or hate it, advertising is powerful when you know what you do. It can seem pretty overwhelming in the beginning but once you learn the basic advertising techniques, this will boost your business.
Tailwind
This tool is a life saver. If you use Pinterest to promote your content or services, using Tailwind will save you a LOT of time. The thing about using Pinterest marketing is that you need to be pinning a lot of pins per day in order to generate some traffic to your website. But you don’t want to spend all day doing it yourself right? That’s where Tailwind can help, it allows you to schedule content to be posted to relevant group boards anytime you want and at the frequency that you like. Set it and forget it.
CRM
GetResponse
This is a very versatile newsletter service that supports some email automation features. If you are looking for a marketing automation platform and don't have the budget or skills to afford the top tools. GetResponse is the tool you need.

Mailchimp is not a CRM but an email marketing tool that you can use for free until you reach your first 2000 subscribers. It is very user friendly and allows you to create newsletters, auto-responders and landing pages.
Analytics
Google Analytics
All you need to do is install a piece of code on your website and Google Analytics will do the rest of the job for you. It is a good way to track the traffic on your website and see what type of content your audience like.
Bitly
this online tool will allow you to shorten your links and even customize the links with the keywords of your choice related to the piece of content you are redirecting the user to. It will help you also track the number of clicks over time, where does your traffic comes from online and from what country.
Content creation
Canva
Awesome tool to create graphic designs even if you are not a professional. They offer everything a content creator needs. You can join for free and use thousands of free elements like photos, text, shapes, graphics and more. They also have paid services but I personally never used it.
Adobe Spark
I am using it more and more lately. Pretty similar to Canva with great templates to create not only graphics but also videos.
FREE Stock Photo Library
When it comes to online content creation, you will need to use some visuals. You then got two options, either use your own or use other’s. For the latter, you can use Free stock photography libraries to download the visuals that you need. Here are a few suggestions below:
Online course builder
Creating an online course takes a lot of time and the last thing you want to do is to spend more time setting up the technical part of hosting your content on a website and prolong your student on-boarding process. On the contrary, setting up the technical part of your online course should be easy and fast. And that is exactly what these two following tools can do for you. My preference goes for Teachable because they also have a mobile application and your future students can access your course no matter the device they use. But Thinkific is also a great alternative.
Teachable
Thinkific
Social Media Management
Hootsuite
if you need to schedule your content for many platforms under one roof, this is what HootSuite can do for you. I have been using it since 2015 and I am loving it. not only can you schedule your content on several platforms at once but also offers reporting on your social media campaigns and helps create customize feed to see the content you are only interested in.
Buffer
Do you have several social media accounts but do not want to spend your time posting your content one by one on each one of them. Buffer can help you with that. All you have to do is link your existing accounts, create the content, schedule it once and your job is done. This will save you a LOT of time posting your content online.
IFTTT
Great app to automate actions you do regularly. The acronym stands for " If This Then That". Very easy to setup and works for everything.
Copywriting
Grammarly
this is an add-on you can install on your web browser to correct your grammar. Very handy tool, especially as .a blogger or journalist writing content every day. The last thing you want is lose credibility just because of grammar mistakes. That's personally something I cannot stand. So if tools can help you, why not use it.
Hemingway
The app highlights lengthy, complex sentences and common errors; if you see a yellow sentence, shorten or split it. If you see a red highlight, your sentence is so dense and complicated that your readers will get lost trying to follow. Try it yourself, you will love it. Especially if you are just starting blogging and have no experience writing.
There you go. With all these tools at your disposal with most of them being free, you will be able to be better organized and be more efficient on handling your business activity on a daily basis.
What about you? What online tools would you recommend that have helped you run your business successfully?
