Review of my trips so far this year
/Hi everyone,
I hope that you enjoyed my past articles and that you found the content useful and interesting. I just wanted to make a quick review of my trips so far this year and the plan for the next 3 months.
Since January I have been to:
1. Iceland
Such a beautiful country, the landscapes are amazing and the northern lights just breathtaking. I had such a great experience there. It was a dream that came true finally. I guess next time I go there will be in summer to experience the midnight sun!

2. Côte d'Ivoire
This trip back to my roots was long due, 14 years. It was interesting to re-discover the country where I grew up with my adult eyes. There are so many things to see and do there. It is a really beautiful country and the lifestyle is very easy going, no stress. I can't wait to go back already. I promised myself to go back at least once a year from now on.

3. United States, West coast
I went to the US for work reasons and seized the opportnity to take couple of days off to do a road trip from San Francisco to Sequoia National Park, Las Vegas and Los Angeles with couple of my colleagues. We went from the rain in San Francisco to Snow in Sequoia National Park and warm weather in Las Vegas and Los Angeles! But it was definitely worthy. I will try to write about it in the coming weeks.
4. The Ring of Kerry
If you cannot travel outside your country, be a tourist inside and visit the surroundings. I have always heard about the ring of Kerry as being one of the most scenic route in Ireland. I finally visited it on my return from the US and I must say that it is a must do if you visit Ireland and got some time. From old castle ruins to remote islands and national parks, this part of Ireland is definitely worth being part of UNESCO heritage site.
5. London
I went back to London last week-end. I love this city, there are so many things to do and see. I used to live there for two years when I was a student, but discovering a city when you don't live there is totally different, you see things with a different perspective. Despite being an expensive city to live in, it is definitely a great place to visit.
And to close this quarter of traveling I am planning on going to Zürich,Switzerland this coming May bank holiday weekend! Here I come Swiss alps, cheese fondue and chocolate!
All these trips by working a full-time job. I cannot stop saying that traveling is not impossible, especially nowadays. You just need to plan it carefully in advance and stick to it.
If you have not read my post about how to travel more often and how to find cheap flights online, please do, I give you most of the tips I use to save up money and schedule my trips. Of course, it does not necessarily needs to be all about traveling. For me, it is, as that's one of my biggest passions. But find yours and make it a priority, especially while you are still young and have no responsibilities, trust me you won't regret it.
I am happy that I managed to post one article every week since the start of the year, I am sticking to my new resolution and will try to increase the posts going forward, I just need to better manage my time!
